In the past days we have thoroughly reviewed the results of the balancing project and evaluated the discussion threads in the forum and we are generally very satisfied. Therefore we have set a release date for this Neocron 2 add-on: it will be available to all Neocron players on March 12, 2007! Until then, we will be taking care of some fine-tunings (http://forum.neocron.com/showthread.php?t=136952) that you will be able to review on the test server.

A big thanks to all the players that have been helping thoroughly and constructively with the balancing – all other players still have the chance to check out the many changes on the test server and leave their impressions for discussion in the forum (-> Balancing Discussion (http://forum.neocron.com/forumdisplay.php?f=170) ).

For the release of Neocron Evolution 2.2, an updated client that contains all the balancing project changes will be made available for download. At the core of this package are the following changes:
- Balancing and partial realignment of the different character classes in Neocron
- Balancing of the different weapon categories (damage, frequency, range, etc.)
- Balancing of all computer enemies (NPCs)
- Balancing of all relevant items (implants, armor, drugs)
- More variation for weapons, implants, armor, drugs and vehicles
- Additional items, features and enemies

The number of changes is very large and their details would be too much for this announcement. Players that did not actively participate in the test server phase will require a longer familiarization phase to check everything out. We put a lot of effort into bringing more transparency and dynamic into the game in collaboration with the community – reactivating will definitely be worth it :D !

With this package, the additional payment provider, the loyal and dedicated community and the continuation of the story in Neocron, we are hoping that many new and old runners will face the challenges of the late 28th century. It is time to settle old scores...
