I'm new to the game and would really like to join a clan. I'm a tank CityMerc faction. If any clans are looking for new people please let me know.

I'm sure that there must be a city merc clan out there that would like a new & keen recruit.
Try asking some of the clanned runners you see around milli base if you haven't found one yet.

CM isn't a faction I would recommend for a new player, though the mid to high leveling around our base is great, the low level stuff is hard if you don't know what you are doing.
Add to that CM isn't well populated, and the clans that are there are generally focused on high end play, I suggest you start in in one of the Neocron factions (Tangent, Biotech, CityAdmin, Protopharm or Diamond Real Estate) first to learn the ropes, plus there's more clans willing to help a fresh runner.
