Connection Problems

Hi, I am trying to connect to Neocron from university. When I run the game I get as far as the Launcher. When I press 'Play Neocron 2' the AutoUpdater window launches, but hangs on 'connecting to server'. I read the 'Connection Issues' help on the website and also tried the SocksCap32 program, but it didn't work, maybe because I am on XP.

Is there anyway to get this working or am I out of luck?

Considering you're at a university they probably have a firewall in place that's blocking the packets. Best thing to do would be speak to one of the guys in charge and see what restrictions they've got in place, and see if they can make any exceptions. *cough* Show Neocron to everyone. Might help in boosting the population even more. :p
