Quick question. Is changing the world map graphic file currently legal?

The use of modified world maps is being tolerated and will not be punished as breach of our terms of service. This only relates to the worldmap and the authorised modification of R.P.O.S. files. The modification of other client files is still prohibited and will be punished accordingly.

does it change the coulour of the factions on the map as well sometimes i change it and then i think shit i didnt know they owned that op or is my eyes just playing tricks on me ?????

Yeah it does.

The default colours are pretty shit, its always hard to tell.
