[OT] Playstation 2 online

I just bought myself metal gear solid 3 subsistance...

I have the older bigger PS2 (not slimline)

I can't find one shop with sells the PS2 ethernet adaptor.
What ways do any of you know, to get my PS2 online ?

you need an adapter...Ebay is the win. thats where i got mine. Just dont get a cheapass one like i did, mine busted.

Well I can find that adapter just fine over here but I can't seem to find the "adapter" which is used to plugin a harddrive into the PS2. Anyone know if it's the same adapter or if there are two different ones? :P

No the ethernet adapter is not the same thing as the PS2 Hard Drive. lol =]

What on earth do you wanna buy the PS2 Hard Drive for anyway?
Practically nothing supports it - unlesss you're thinking of installing Linux.

Well I got this old harddrive which I want to use for my PS2 - boot, images etc. I found this harddrive adapter on one online store and it has the very same name as the adapter that makes it possible to get online with your PS2. Just weird heh :P

It was Ghost Recon, Jungle Strike ^^
Doubt it'll be any good, but like you said, at least I got the headset :)

Whenever I go online with my playstation 2, it cuts off my internet on my PC and comes up with "ip conflict error"

Is there a way to share Ip's or anything ?!?

I never had this trouble with my xbox live
