No not that kind you dirty peasants, the Bond kind.
As some may be aware, Casino Royale came out today.
I am quite the Bond fan, I am the veteran of many a Bond Canon (all Bond films back to back, no breaks, caffine banned, alchohol consuption mandatory, almost nearly killed one of us), and after the debacle that was Die another Day, quite concerned about the future of the franchise.
Casino Royale was the first of the Flemming books, and in at least one version, Bond was actually an American, and Felix Lieter a British agent.
In this incarantion, it essentially describes Bond's first real mission as a OO, and explains his methods and ruthlessness as he goes about doing his stuff.
Anyway, filled with anticipation one bimbled down to my local hole of a cinema, expecting to find it sold out or at least massive queues.
Nothing of the sort, there were about 20-30 people in there. Probably because it was the 6 pm showing.
Got myself a yummeh seat near the front in the middle in a row all to myself.
Bascially, it's awesome. Go see. Really.
Though be warned, I can't believe they gave it a 12A rating. Definitely 15 stuff, especially the torture scene :D.
The beginning is awesome btw, parkhour insanity.
lol maybe ill go take a Look, hope its in german also that good.
Havent had the chance to see it yet, usually im not much of a Bond fan (Except Sean Connery :D )
But i really want to see this one, mostly because of Le Chiffre (I think his name is) he's a Danish actor (Mads Mikkelsen) and he's never really been the villian so it'll be interresting.
How is he?

He's OK, but you don't really see him in many different situations.
Oh and btw, it's 2hrs 25 mins long. When you think it's over... it just isn't...

Im still finding it hard to believe hes making an international career. The few international interwiews ive seen him in his acent has been absolutely horrid.

Good god I thought it would never end. Should probably have taken one of the earlier endings, rather than dragging it on through the very, very bitty actual ending.
It was - interesting. Its not really a bond film - someone clearly decided the franchise should go a different direction. I enjoyed it however, although the product placement was way, wayyyyy OTT.
i watched it sunday, fucking loved it Bond was begining to get out of hand with technology (invisilbe cars etc).

Unfortunately, this winter im surgically strapped into cycling lycra and onto my bike.
Edit:- But i'll prepare the ground for summer by taking pics, obviously.
