Can't run DX9? Can you be more specific? Can't you run DX9 in any games or is this only related to Neocron?

not related to neocron...no games will run DX9...

my DOD:S crashes as soon as i try to play a game, Dark Messiah (I know) Wont load some textures, and i havnt tried many other source games...but its a fucking 256 card...my 64 card ran DX9 fine.

My geforce FX 5950 Ultra is 256MB, but doesn't mean it'll run DX 9...

Did you just install the card? You could try reinstalling dx9. Also if you had an nVidia card before get the driver cleaner utility from nvidia's website to get rid of the old drivers totally, then reinstall your ATI drivers.

Who told you that was a "top of the line hardcore video card" ?

Whoever it was, go smack them. That was NEVER a top of the line card. Ever. It's a derivative of the 9700 Pro. A very weak, watered down derivative.
