Test server for 2.2 expected in the next couple of weeks or so. As for when 2.2 comes to retail... as the man said, when it's done.

As it has been posted by niddhogg on a different thread, the plans are a bit behind schedule that they told us, as lots of people in reaKKtors office have been ill and away for the last couple of weeks, therefore putting the balancing work behind schedule!

and if there is any, ADD the time amount to already active accounts instead of the previous way of just allowing us to use inactive and active accounts durring that period. Us that actually pay shouldn't be punished.

This hasn't been determined yet.
Will the retail version be identical to the final version of the testserver? I remember that KK used to say that some of the bugs didn't show up on the test server because they weren't identical at the time. Would be awkward if people played during the free period, only the find out that there's some serious game-ruining bugs.
Also, could we have a detailed documentation of all the changes so that we can properly test it? I say this, because there have been patch notes in the past where not all the changes were included.

uhh eve says 13 hours lmao and thats been ages ago i just never installed xfire when I formated
i still think the test server should have been put up straight away so we could test the changes as they were gradually implimented instead of having to test everything in a few weeks, plus i'm bored to fuck and i know i'm not the only one
iirc they didn't have the resources to make the changes playable and instead opted for putting it all in at once.
I really do hope we get an influential discussion for the settings on the test server, that would round this whole balancing project off very nicely. :)

The THN interview says 'by the end of the year' that's at least 2 months.
I was stating the fact that it was now November and KK said the test server would be up and running in October. Personally I believe evo 2.2 will be released some time next year perhaps around june or july, but that is merely what I believe.
I could be wrong though, we'll just have to keep waiting :angel: I, like everyone else want want it to be right when they release it :D

Too fucking right, I want them to release it finished right, but soon as possible as i really want to start playing again. Which isnt gonna happen unless something new gets put into it.
