What you do is post the icon of a program/game you currently play or use. The winner is the first person to correctly identify the icon, and they get to post another.

The normal size icon wouldn't have helped.. it's Civilization 1. If you did play it the icon is instantly recognizable. :p

Well, initally it made me think of Hostile Waters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hostile_Waters_%28game%29) but there's only been one of those. Then the combination of "thinking" and "4" and "cartoon" made me think of Monkey Island (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rtiAQk3ojE), but thats neither that heavy on the skulls, plus only the last 1 was 3d. Plus I actually don't think thats the icon, although it wouldnt be entirley out of place.
Elder Scrolls? no, all from at least Daggerfall have been 3d.

Ah, I didn't know they'd made a fourth one - thats why I'd disrguarded Broken Sword. Was on the right lines with MI though.
Mine is spacey and in a certain way shooty, yes. But its not that old/
C Masters one reminds me of Tron 2.0 but i dont think it is from Tron 2.0

It's Earth 2150 you can google it nice game really. All kinds of terrain strategy involved cause it's 3D, I guess like Total Annihilation? You can build tunnels too, like right into an enemy base. I haven't played it much though just enough to get a feel for it.

Clearly one of the X-wing games. Going by the death-star its either X-Wing 95 or X-Wing: Alliance. I'm voting for the original, as I think Alliance used a freighter as its icon.

Its not one of the xwing games its one of the more recent star wars games.
