BF2142 was crap yesterday
BF2142 is a joke today
and there is no doubt, BF2142 will still suck tomorrow..
well.. it's not exactly a terribly bad game.. but I have no understanding for people who played bf2 before and actually think bf2142 is worth the money.

I really like this game, it's got good room for skilfulness but is alright for noobies to get the hang of.
tbh i don't give a shit what people say when i'm getting 1-2 deaths in a round with 15+ kills (consistently).
My only complaint would be that it doesn't have the same character as BF:V, but then again, neither did BF2
lots people flame I could post neocron on mmorpg say best and get so many shotdowns. I rather see a post of people posting there tags like it says rather then people whine how it sucks.

can anyone explain to me I can have everything on high, when playing conquest maps, but if I go on Titan maps, I have to have everything on Low and when I get inside the Titan, I get ... "Hardware" lag shall we say, so I can't aim at anyone :( .

I find it hard to get a decent score with sniper, I either sit in a secret place and get a good K/D but not many kills, or I go suicidal and die way too much. It might just be because I play titan mode mainly and there are more vehicles to ******** you.

meh im just trying out the guns to find one i like... frankly tho just realized today that getting points is hella easy in titan mode... pick support/assault and leave a trail of ammo/meds everywhere... hell u can get like 30-40 points just by sitting at a titan turret with a ammo box out... in like 5 min or less...
ofcourse my fav is still just shooting down heli's that try to board teh titan... those idiots never remember to FUCKING DIVE ^_^ got 60 kills in 1 game like that... lots of full transports =p
It's easy to get 830. I got 700 because i got Veteran Explosives and Knife Pin and Badge and other awards.

I don't play sniper much since i play titan mode and i don't feel like laming with mines/RDX while defending the titan. Attacking other people's titan is far more fun and i don't feel like getting ganked everytime i get within 20m of someone so that rules out sniper.
I unlocked the rockets and i wanted to try them. Then you happend to stand in the way of the rockets. ;)
They're awesome, really owns people camping on titans. The ability to set the distance that they explode at is also cool.
That's what I love about this game, they've got really nice vehicles/weapons. Some of the gun unlocks are quite bad though, I hope they get changed with next patch.
I did really love attacking the Titan... And defending it -
Until people started Abusing Frag nades on every server i go on..
some1 called s_jackson got 200 score, and we couldnt get into the titan, we had layer 2 down, ours with decent Shield left, we still lost...
Nade spamming non stop, is lame and i couldnt find away around it... sure you can rush and kill him once or twice, but then it starts again
Well...i love my 3Fraggrenades and APMs. :D

Pff, i invented APM and nade spam in the titans. I started with it, then people just kept following. I used to get like 80score, now everyone gets 80score. O_o

i joined a game quite late when the enemy titan shield was down and got almost 100 from just doing titan air drops. I ended up getting 280 career points from all the titan air drop pins :D
needless to say, my almost pure teamwork score looked suspicious

I beat you Giga, i got 1080 points today when i got my Expert Knife badge! :D lol, i suppose it's the wrong time to tell you that my highest is now (and has been for a while) 1875. I'm 1k off Brigadier general too :D. Only S_jackson has that rank in the UK, no one else has the rank i have, nor the rank before mine.

He killed me about 4 times, but i got him more - So im happy :) -
Was nice camping tbh- Normally if they rush i can take a couple out, but i had a medic behind me i killed and took them to low HP! The Medic finished off and rezzed me, while watching the other entrance from range...
Never died in that spot, because rezz doesnt count as death :)

Well i started of support- Because the weapon is so dam fucking powerfull, but i actually like Assault alot more......
The Advanced sniper is nice... picked some1's pack up with it, 1 more rank till i can get that myself -
im staying support atm because im 13/15 hours for my Silver support badge.-
But... Defending the Titan - Shield, Turret, Ammo pack, LMG.... Its pretty powerfull - Hey dude... its better than being a gay ass with AP mines, and RDX attached around the entrances...
I'm pure sniper! But i sometimes take the assaultkit to get a little variation.

really nade spam duo is just score farmin... 2 ammo boxes and 2 people just spam nades... good for points bad for assault. so just cap missiles and pwn em that way... ninjaing missile silos like poeple ninja ops in NC ^_^

I've found a really awesome squad to play with. Our scores at the end of last game last night was 118, 113, 108 and that was assaulting the titan :eek:. I don't think anyone else got over 68 that game. Nothing beats the gameplay of being in a good squad.
And pantho, i ********** you so many times when you were trying to camp the vents :D

New animation, ironsight and model. And a slightly different sound. It's pretty cool.

Yepp. EbGames, allthough Bf2142.se got 9 codes they competed out if you could knife and admin and screen, then they just picked random pics and the one's that we're picken got the code. EA-Sweden was nice and gave me one for free. :D

Yes... We looked into this on a unranked server last night -
Worked out at 3900 Career points a minute, with a 1500 ingame score...
Its stupid....
Punkbuster does not kick for it ...
And we managed to get some1's score to 9000 .... Before the titan shield was down....

But, you can still get inside boxes... on the Titan, and walls. and inside ANY building on the map -
At least they can ban the stat padders now that the exploit is gone

You need almost the exact same PC as you needed for BF2 :rolleyes:
Yepp, but PoE is nice, allthough it dosen't have so much freedom of personalising your kit as 2142. :D And the advertisement you can easlily block.
Finally got above the 2:1 win loss ratio for the war college ribbon, altho i need 9 hours more of commanding.

Yup poe is amazing. Bf 2142 is pretty much a bf2 expansion that they make you pay more for. Still the same crappy engine. Besides the last patch for bf2 they didnt even release an incremental patch for a 3 meg patch. Want to go from 1.40 to 1.41 its about 3 megs but requires a 450 meg download to get. Realy tells somthing about that pos company. Ill wait for quake wars thanks.
