I just got into the trial version of NC2, but I'm having a majorly hard time reading the fonts... I can read them, but I have to squint - the color is too close to the background color and the size is way too small to read comfortably.
Is there any way to change this?

yeah i had the same prob but i got use to it but you can always change your hud colour to somthing that you like i cant remember the code for it but someone in game will know it

err....i think its... /set gfx_hudcolor 1-10...if not ask on help channel i always get something int aht mixed up.

Thanks that helps a bit... What about font size? Its seriously way too small and its starting to give me a headache

its a common problem. Especially for people with eyesight issues. Unfortunaltey, there is no solution availble other than playing in a rubbish resolution. KK have no sympathy for players with less than perfect eyesight it seems.

Although I don't know for sure, but I'm rather confident about the fact it's a technical issue, because they would have to redo the way how the whole GUI stuff works.

Personally I play with 1024x768 for exactly this reason, even though my hardware would support higher resolutions without a problem.

I think i may be the pnly one who plays NC in 800x600 xD

I also have eye sight problems (quite bad) but i can read quite well in that resolution + it gives me betta FPS

I have 20/20 eyesight, a 21" monitor, 1600x1200 native resolution (I play in Windowed, which I assume is 1024x768).
Even in fullscreen 1200x1024, its pretty hard to read some things (Dialog is the main problem, and sometimes the pop ups as well)

You can change the text colors to anything you wish in the rpos.ini file if the 10 presets aren't good enough.
