Character Creation (?)

the tutorial is making me feel really stupid. it seems like there isn't a way to survive it. but if i choose not to do the tutorial, my character doesn't show up in the character selection screen. what's the deal?

The tutorial is just that, it's meant to give you a well-rounded experience of the game by letting you play with an uber character for a little bit. You don't survive the tutorial. Once it's done, you then create your own character to build from the ground up.

you actually survive the tutorial though it looks like you've been shot dead. make sure you select the right server, your character you created earlier should be there.

You don't survive it... it's just a weird sequence, create char -> play tutorial -> die in tutorial -> play original char not the one in the tutorial. I think KK should set that up differently. O_o
