remove shelters
remove deflectors

add in

Deflector (works as a deflector but for piercing attacks)
Absorber (works as a deflector but for force attacks)

heat sheild (works as a shelter but only for fire and enegy attacks)
hazard sheild (works as a shelter but only for fire and xray attacks)
energy sheild (works as a shelter but only for xray and energy attacks)

increase the effectiveness of the deflectors and shelteres a little bit

=] it would always leave a hole in sumbodys deffences so aslong as u come prepaired u can punch a hole in there defences

forien casts can overide forien casts aslong as there equal or higher lvl

forien casts can overide self casts aslong as there the same type, and of higher %age or higher lvl

self casts cant be overiden by different kind of casts
forien casts can


converse about the idea then kiddywinkles, it would leave holes in monks defences (haha) and it would reduce a pes new found godlyness. spys need only spec for fire/energy shelteres as there PA is a xray persons dream and as tanks dont realy use shelteres self cast it increases there playablity

superb timing for such an idea :p
I'd say we all wait for the changes to come and start ripping it into pieces when the testserver goes live .. not much use discussing any significant changes outside the balancing plan really.

This sounds like belts to me, but wouldn't it be better to wait until 2.2 hits the test server?

Also I get a feeling this would make tanks unholy uber. Spec lots (114) resist in one resist (POS), PPU to shield you (Energy+Xray), and Fire armour. Add to this, their resist force. (Easy to cap)
