hmm, my account was active 3-4 days longer than it should have, I thought it was infinite active for a while there ;).
Thanks for the heads up. I logged in as soon as I read your post and followed the gathering of peeps guessing only that it would be about the spider problem as I had missed any briefing and didn't get an email. Was lots of fun and pretty much non stop. Big thanks to Darkana for keeping me alive and rezzing me to undead status too.
Are we allowed to post pick of it mods, I took about 80 of them? If anyone actually wants to see them that is.
Edit: I don't want to post all 80 of them obviously. :p

Your local list is based by proximity to YOU. Most likely client-side.
Never too worried about it.
I think it's sorted first basis or something.

The storage lead to a cave system (for all those who have been to the Tescom worm tunnel: same layout), and it was filled with spiders and nests, too. I haven't seen if the island in the main room had the "uber" boss on it, the storage had a couple 127/127 Spider Queens which were actually spawning new spider nests :wtf:

After the cave was cleared the spider menace got hopefully rooted out, having slain the "mastermind". However, it's yet to be seen if that was all or if that virus will pop up elsewhere in the future, yet again.

For those who missed it (or just want to kill spiders again :rolleyes: ), and have characters able to participate on Mars, there's another one (http://forum.neocron.com/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2006-9-10&e=42&c=3) tonight. :) I'm guessing the language will be in German though. Should be relatively simple to understand out of the hat.

Was fun, although I was expecting everyone to start fighting each other in the beginning (thats why I have my stealth ready in the first shot ;) ) and I was even rezzed a few times by antis towards the end. possibly the start of a re-alliance between the factions?
did the 127s drop anything decent?

Then bang... War-Barney's hoverbomb misses and kills every1 anyways so it doesnt matter...

So we sent ppu after ppu in to rezz him... The PPU's Died in 1 hit - No kidding 1 hit..... 3 PPU's Later, i brought a ppu and rezzed the nibs.... :p -
BTW, All the PPU's came and died as i was stood there laughing on my APU, "Pantho teh APU", who never got hit *_* ,

The spiders are easy to beat, just keep moving, their arcing spit stuff won't hit you then. Took on a boat lot of lvl 80 & 90 ones the other day.
