Help! Returning Runner Stuck

Hello,

I'm returning to NC after a break and when I first enter MC5 i get the message 'Synchronising' and I cannot move... i've tried logging, relogging, creating new chars, everything... please help I would very much like to return to the game.

That's a damn annoying bug, normally aggravated by ISP problems as some ISPs get it a lot and other rarely, but the logout / login cycle is really the only way unless you are near a zoneline you can right click on.

Make a helpticket ingame and see if a GM can warp you; that sometimes helps to get you unstuck.

Great, got it sorted.. I can now actually walk around :)

Fixed it by logging out and in again several million time ;)

Note for the future:

The sync/zero stat bug won't allways (infact, almost never) be fixed by a quick relog.
The broken 'zombie' char remains in play like a regular one, so when you log out, it's still there for 10 secs (and sometimes longer because it's broken).
It's not a fool proof fix, but log out and leave it for a while, a minute is best. Then log in and usually it's fixed.
