Uplink FBI mod

I'm sure many of you have played Uplink.

If any of you have tried the FBI mod, would you be able to help me ?

When I load up the game, I get this as my screen and I can't go no further.

I've tried reinstalling many a time.

damn havent played uplink in years :) i did have fbi mod but seemed to install ok cant rem having any probs tho but was liek years ago :p

Yay Uplink R0xx. Can you put a link on this tread for FBI mod? Never heard of it.

EDIT: Going to try it too. Maybe i can help ya.

EDIT2: Just copied all the Files needed into Uplink folder and it worked without any problems.

i'm totally going to reinstall this game tonight and try this out.

If i get the same error, nobby, i'll let you know.

Did you check the event log under applications to see if it made a note about why this happened?

I Had uplink Intalled on my other HD, Because of the other mod I had on there, the FBI mod started, but I still had custom menu themes.

I deleted the game, installed uplink, installed the FBI mod, then the problem happened again.

For XP, right click my computer and select manage. Click on Event Viewer in the left pane and Application in the right.

If the game created an error, it would be there. Also, come to think of it, see if there's a log of some kind in the uplink directory. Maybe it logs the startup of the game in a txt file and you can use it to troubleshoot.

Also, use google to search to see if others are having the same problem
