Chat question

I don't know if i'm doing it right. How do you chat with someone in your buddy list? I usually click the buddy link and the players name. I just don't know if it works.

Once you've actually added them to the Buddy list, switch to the Buddy channel (alt+C will let you quickly cycle through the channels), and just type as normal. The messages will be sent to everyone on your buddy list, as long as they don't have you on ignore. Nothing much to it. :)

Although I'm not 100% sure but following the whole /l (local chat) and /e (emote) examples, typing /b <message> will probably submit a message to the Buddy channel in just the same way.

yer /b message goes here does work i use it a lot when i start playing to see if anyone on my buddy list has come back yet >cries<

Unfortunatelly there is no way to see if people on your Buddy list are online or off, unlike when you are Direct Messaging someone and the game tells you if they are offline.
