The introduction of the "You have been killed by PlayerName/MobName." Messages was great.

Let's go to the next step and modify some of the existing messages.

Such as:

Implant process successfully started.

Should really be:

Implant process successfully started by PlayerName.

How about messages that say:

ER Chaincraft v1 has been 5% repaired by PlayerName.

Or:

Your Rhino 4x4 v2 has been destroyed by PlayerName/MobName.

Or on trading days:

Trade initiated by PlayerName.

Followed by:

Trade completed with PlayerName.

Team change notifications would be great:

PlayerName has joined/left your team.

As well as Clan notifications:

PlayerName has joined/left ClanName.

I think these would be useful and I'm sure there are a lot more possible - especially in conjuction with Cronalyser. How many times have you become unteamed with a player and didn't know it? Or they crashed and you forgot to reteam then lost SL? Or poked by one of 10 pokers around you, but didn't know who to really tip?

i think the team one is kool it would be better if to say if you started the team you could kick or place someone else as leader of that team ????

tbh i think when u trade with sumone it should pop up a lil dialog type box like when sumone requests permission to enter a vehicle, saying summit like

"Would u like to trade with 'playername', yes/no"

this may also stop ppl trading u mid fight when u forget to turn it off :p

aha FN finally strikes again, i thought it was getting a bit long since you posted some ideas.

it would need an option to turn it off though since some people would find it annoying

Love the idea, frankly.

But, yes, perhaps an option to turn off advanced player action messages may be needed. And off by default.

I mean, good lord, Neocron's already bad enough with crappy defaults that it resorts to when it fucks up your .ini files.

I like them, but agreed the option to turn them off would be nice.

I think there is a team kick command isn't there? It's written on the NC1 map if im not mistaken but i never tested it O_o

Otherwise, yes, especially the team join/leave messages are something I'm missing since ages.

The one with implantation started by... would be pretty handy for pokers. Should stop any arguments that occur when there is more than one poker present.

How about, while we run with this chat idea, A Split Pane chat window? System messages in one pane, the other retaining all the regular channel functions? I find that System messages often obscure other important info, and having them seperated would eliminate this, and make it easier to scroll through your trade/kill history.

I'd like to see clan chat in a seperate pane aswell tbh, i think each channel should have its own pane in the communicator as after playing other MMOs i find that its much easier to follow chat with a system like that.

Also one thing I have been missing if an information
that tells you when clan ppl come online and or ppl in buddy list.

Clan ppl may do but not buddy list ppl usually.
Also you are maybe keeping an eye for a specific person you wanna contact.
Then it would be easy to add to buddy list and see when he/she comes online
