View Full Version : Epson Photography Competition and Neocron
Linked by a german newssite I looked at the different pictures of this photo competition when I stumbled over this picture (http://www.eng.cam.ac.uk/photocomp/2006/mc402_1.shtml), which had a background image I found somehow looked familar ... :)
Interesting pictures, though!

Not as much as I am a bread!
muahaha! a totally confusing riposte!
It's not even from in-game, it's from one of the photos in the description of Hacknet on this page: http://ng.neocron.com/index.php?id=100
All he did was invert it. "ready to interact with by docking in one of its stacks" my ass.
At least the "artist" looks like he spends most of his time in front of a computer:

Well thats the weirdest angle for a game i've ever seen! 8|
Good though, just what would the boffs think if they knew the real background wasn't....
"The imaginary cyberspace background in which the circuit is floating, and is ready to interact with by docking in one of its stacks, suggests: maybe next-generation electronics is not so distant a concept as we imagine? "
Just NC! :D
or did NC rob the idea from Cambridge  heh ehh
Doing a google image search for cyberspace brings up some interesting results.
Heh. Seems NC2's HackNet was successful in the image rip-off deparment. First page of images has two blatant rip-offs from the NC2 site. It took more than 10 pages to hit something from The Matrix.
It would be funny if we could spot a hacknet character in one of the pictures...
I vote KK start sticking characters in each one of their screen shots, dammit show how much the game rules, and that it is in fact a GAME
you want a wierd angle for a game,

Geniuses steal, however that guy just sucks.
KK, if you need a good copyright lawyer give Leonard J. Crabbs a try, he comes highly recommended.

What the hell was that awesomeness and when can I get it?
hahaha, that looks like a top notch game which will peev me off at the more difficult stages. :p
What the hell was that awesomeness and when can I get it?It's Portal, it's shipping with Half-Life 2 Episode 2, and it's made by the guys who made Narbacular Drop.
A proper WMV file is available on Steam in the Media section. It's much sharper looking.

Thanks for this. Seems I've been living under a rock as far as gaming is concerned lately. Just downloading episode 1 and saw another epi 2 trailer. Looks like one hellova ride.
