How do I go about uploading (or linking) an avatar. I see others (non Mods) with them but the User CP does seem to support?? Anyone have a moment to guide me here? Thanks..

Afaik you need to have a minimum amount of posts before that feature is unlocked - 10 or 15 posts it was unless I am mistaken.
If you havent done so yet, I'd also encourage you to tie your forum account to your game account via the NC Launcher.
