Free month for coming back?

I was starting the click 2 play process and never entered a credit card #. My account got reactivated for a month. Is this normal? Do returning players get a free month if they haven't played for a long time?

thats what i thought when i got another free month. Then when i tried to pay for a second month, something happened to my C2P account and i switched over to PBC.

They tried to charge me double in exchange for the month that i got for "free".
