[CbT]MSN 8/Windows Live Connection Problems?

Anyone having trouble connecting to Windows Live / MSN8? I've tried everything in it's troubleshooting and help documentation on and offline and it just wont connect, reports the service is unavailable but a few friends arnt reporting any problems... O_o
