mic volume bar = fuxxord

My mic volume bar keeps going down, I have my mic in my mouth and people can barely hear me, My mic boost is on also.


What do I do?

In some cases doesnt the mic volume bar adjust itself when its peaking out? i know it does during the test run for the mic. Perhaps this is happening and its a case of broken hardware causing the crap sound levels.

i.e. when you speak the mic is going nuts, chucking out a load of crap and then turning itself down.

Not sure, just a guess as i know the sensitivity does automatically change when running the mic test stuff.

What application you using?

When we were talking the other day, MSN was doing funny things to my sndvol.exe (or whatever it's called now)
