Signature Size?

Hi folks,

Is there a limit on the size of a signature image? If so what is it, and how do I make the image smaller (assuming i can't alter it on the page). I've been searching forums for the awnser but I can only find information about how to the image up not how to size it.

Hi,

from the forum rules: "Signatures may not be higher then 100 pixels in height, 6 lines of text or a combination of the two (for example, it is permissible to have a 50px graphic and 3 lines of text). Signature width may be as long as you require provided it does not extend the screen on a 1024*768 resolution and linked content must not consume excessive bandwidth."

I guess this means it should be a gif, png, or jpeg of reasonable file size - under 50k should keep you on the safe side.

You can resize your image with any graphics package: Photoshop, Image Ready or MS Paint! ;)
