Dear god remove the Blood

These 2D blood splats are becoming a serious pain in the ass in places like Neofrag, let me show an example.

This is a screenshot of Neofrag without the blood, note the FPS

Now a near identical screenshot when theres been some fighting and theres a fair bit of blood, now note the FPS

Its rediculous and coupled with the xbow taking 20fps off for a second or two everytime it hits, its near impossible to duel.

Indeed there is something wrong. Im playing this game using an GF6800GT that plays half life without fatigue at all, but when a monk shoots me using HL or another crossbow pe, or if I use my bow Im getting fps hits that break motion fluidity. How can I/We aim??

Now that im using a 6800gt (traded my 6600gt and some cash for it) instead of my 9600np i havent noticed any lag when im being hit or anything. Blood dousent lag me either. Maybe its just so small i dont notice it anymore.

I doubt much will be done about this. After all, the grass was pretty much one of the main parts of that content patch remember? They spent all that time making grass look nicer, and ******** your FPS more.

you would just tell you to zone to remove the blood but the grass is shite for fps i get like 70 to 90 fps in the city but when in the wastelands i get 40 lol

is it just me or has the memory leak got bad i have to restart my pc 3 times aday but i use to reset it like every 8 hours or somthing

Thats because Jini was chasing me around NF killing me so before he got the chance I kept self_killing. If you note with me, jini and watts in I was at -14, and when about 10 more people had came and gone I was still -14.

Ask him yourself.
