I'm trying to get hold of Service pack 2. I've been trying to find it on teh site for the best part of the day. Able to locate everything but.

The only way I can grab it ti seems is to use the automatic updates which fails everytime. My firewall is configured, and My AV software is off.

Confusion.

Ideas?

Theres a manual download link on www.microsoft.com You may need to verify your windows install to get it though.

yeah, I attempted that, it'n being dicky. My system is certified genuine, but can't access the downlaod still. Something fishy.

Have decided to Download teh installer to my GFs laptop and transfer it.

Yea microsoft's DL system is abit fishy. Whas lucky to get it in the first atempt.
