Character help

I have been playing for about 2 days now and have some serious character questions. I have a Gen Tank Soldier, He uses a chaingun and gernade launcher but what I would really like to use is an assualt rifle. Something like a M16 or along those lines. What class would you suggest for me? Using LoM pills is out of the question for my soldier because would really not like to do that. Any information will be helpful. Thank you in advance

as pointed out in the other thread, rifles are not a tank/soldier domain .. you'll get to use heavy weapons a lot ..basicly large laser or plasma cannons & rocket launchers... if you really want to use lowtech rifles ..such as machine-guns, you'd be better off with a spy or pe
