Im a very new player and would like some quick tips on chatting. Like is there a quick key to send a direct ell without hitting F1 typing their name and so forth? Also any aditional information would be handy.

+d nickname -- establishes a direct link to player 'nickname'
/d msg -- sends 'msg' via channel 'direct'

+b nickname -- adds player 'nickname' to buddy list
/b msg -- sends 'msg' via channel 'buddy'

/c msg -- sends 'msg' via channel 'clan'

ALT+V (might differ, check your control settings) -- quick reply to incoming direct msgs

ALT+C -- change current chat mode/channel

check the manual for the basic info .. and dont hesitate to use both, the forums and the ingame "help" channel to get the hang of the game-mechanics. NC is brutal at the beginning.. very complex and not easy to get along with. Once you get a hang of it, its the most intense mmorpg there is .. but the learning curve sure is steep. GL out there ;)

Ok thanks hopefully that will help out. Im used to just hitting "T" for tell and "R" for respond. I came from Everquest so kinda big switch in game styles.
