Hi,
i'm wondering if anyone else has noticed any (expensive) oddities with gliders? Such as: the glider blowing up as if it hit an invisible wall in the sky, glider becoming stuck in the sky, and - last but not least - gliders blowing up as if they hit an invisible wall in the sky?
They're fun... except for all this random chaos with the sky's invisible clipping lines.
Yeah, the way the games foundations are laid, each zone has to reside within a worldbox.
Fixing it is going to cause some real headaches :p

i used to drone far too much back in NC1, and i started making a map of each zone where i would hit invisible boxes in the sky.. it was usually above a bush or silly little thing on the ground... im guessing your hitting some of those
also, you can get stuck above ASG's/fences/just about anything on the ground.. they deffinatetly need to look at the hitboxes of some things before flying vehicles become worthwhile

gliders arent as bugged as people lead on. dont take a scout and go 800 miles per hour into a zoneline and you should fairly avoid this bug, stay AWAY From the ASG no matter your hieght, and stay away from bushes when taking off/landing/flying low.
best takeoff areas i have found:
MB- theres a little cliff west of MB a bit- good takeoff.
DRT- duh
Battledome- its ok just be careful with bigger heavier gliders. those are the best i have found
I sell more hovertecs and Rhino's in a week compared to gliders in a month.
Everyone who flies for the first time, buys at least 2, as they know the first glider will be a write off.

maybe because ppl will buy a glider from a vender or build it themselves, as their fairly easy to crank out, the specialist things like hoverbombers are to much of a headache for ppl to pour money into them.
yes there are alot of bugs with vehicles atm, just gliders seem to show them up more as there more fragile.
I bought five from Bram lsat time, blown up three alreay - but I am trying some rather insane tricks with them.

first time i flew i had bought 5- 1st one i couldnt figure out how ot take off ran into a tree. second one i figured out how to take off but flew low and hit a bush. third one i got high- but flew over the ASGs uber high invisable pole. fourth one i went uber fast into a zoneline and boom. fifth one i still have to this day.

i bought 1 glider, had no idea how to fy it, but knew to avoid the hitboxes (from shooting and bullets hitting the air..
quick guide to flying.. find a nice smooth place, prefeeably a hil or cliff (sounds silly) and fly it so it bounces off the edge.. you'll g up, then tip it so you're looking up, an off you go.. as you approach a zone line, throttle back a bit (press backwards) and you should e fine.. and avoid ASG's and some trees/buildings at all cost.. give them a nice big space when flying over them..
