Pistol weapons used

Can anyone say what weapons they used in pistols and high-tech as they were leveling up, I've make the mistake of wasting money on certain weapons with higher tl which did less damage than my previous weapon, so can anyone say what weapons I should get along my leveling?

Dude, higher tl= faster XP. The reason for less dam is the fact you dont cap said higher TL weapon, but trust me you will lvl faster with higher tl pistols, just some will earn you more con the closer you have to be to the mob ;)

XP is dependant on weapon tl and mob lvl and is gained per mob.

Clearly xp gain rate is dependant on the rate of killing, where dmg can important.

Unless you make a massive jump from one weapont o another though, using the highest tl weapon you can will get you the best xp gain rate.

This also means that killing the highest lvl mob you can find isn't allways the best method. I get about 4 times the xp from a chaser than a WB, but it takes much more than 4 times the time to kill it.
