Selective Items

I'm newb,
and thus this is newb question,

are items class specified, like
i know differient classes specify at differient things,
but does that mean certain items are restricted??

I hope you guys don't mind a newb in the vet community :P:P

Right now most weapons arnt class restricted.
by weapon i mean pistols, rifles, and cannons.

the spells depending on the requirement will eventually differ what will a monk use.
for instance the Holy Lightning spell has a requirement of 100 something Agressive Psi Use (APU) skill to be use.
so theres only the monks that can use it and thats how its sorted.

the tools (cstr,hack etc)
the basic tradeskill tools (recyle, rep etc) comes in all TLs so all classes and profession can use em ATM.
The higher lv ones need a lot of DEX or INT skill to use.
This is what defines who can use what tool.
For instance a monk may use a TL150 tool if he specs enough to use it.

The stealth tool comes in 2 kinds :

one for PE
and one for spy

there is 4 lvs of spy stealth, and one for PE. those items are spy or PE only.

Some implants are class only because of their requirements, i dont think they are 'class only'.

oh and tanks cant go into hacknet.

Some are, few really. Higher level stealth tools are spy only and the PA (power/personal armour) for each class is.

With the big balancing change in a few months there might be more though.

Hopefully the cap values of the classes and the items availiable should ensure we don't need restrictions as blunt as this in abundance.
