Black Dragon Event

Dear Runners, Black Dragon needs to be stopped on Friday 10th, 2006

4:00PM EST

We have reports comming in that Black dragon will be driving a convoy from DoY to DRT. The Main objective comming in from DoY is to retreive the convoy leaders dogtags, a certain Thug by the name of "Barter Meow". This Thug is said to be the leader of the Drugs&Thugs clan and may have strong ties within the Black Dragon community.

hopefully we can achieve this without any severe Casualities.

We wont be able to trace there route along the way, But nowing black dragon there will be a low soulight Thug around to be tracked Within the NCPD Tracking system.

Please note, Black Dragon main objective is to Capture DRT from NEXT, They hope to establish a base there, to obtain easier acces to Drug trafficing in around TH-MB-NC.

Not sure if Border Police will be needed I don't think there will be any low level non-combatant constructors to kill.

Should be a fun event. Any word on what time this will be taking place or is it an all day thing?

Oh dear, I myself will most likyl bringing my PPU, because i jsut re-rolled my Tank and PE So, my PPU is my only clanned char -

Granted the event was 1 hour late, but we did make an announcment on Pro allience,

I was amazed by the Anti turn out, of our clan and fetish and we did own a hoverbomber that **DoY**, did send over to try and beat us to DRT, But we had no opposition at all

Why the #### do people complain about having nothing to do and then not take advantage of oppertunities when they are provided.
Totally ###ed off at the lack of pro runners attending this event...

I was there half way lommed from droning to pistols with no weapons but only a steath tool just to give recon to the rest of the TFC crew, theirs no excuse!

Well it was great fun beating up the copbots, and the GM forgot to despawn them rofl,

:(Apart from me there wasn't much help until the end after I killed Barter Meow... I spammed alliance/trade - NC/and OOC updating their locations and average numbers, but only a couple of people came.

I first genrepped to DRT Beldaran and Blinding Light were there, but they had quickly disappeared. You and one of my stupider clan mates was like "omg where are they i'm at DRT", which meant you were just stood around at DRT like a spoon until they decided to move East from G10. The couple of TFC that came along were on meatsack runners. Easy cannon fodder. lol

Managed to sneakily distract and kill a few that were straggling behind the main group, but until the NCPD turned up, I mostly hung back stealthing around the pack saying "yo" to Gunnar. :p

I'm glad there were no monks until it was all over (Vegah smells), it made it somewhat more fair, along with the main thing being I don't like monks that much to begin with.

In the next event like this I think there should be a sort of 'registration' type thing, not a binding contract, or anything, just something that shows n runners would or could be online at the time the event is going on, so the numbers could be kept a slightly more even, comparing it to today.

Good fun though, and btw Gunnar, I don't keep FETISH belts remember (bloody nailgun pfft :p), you can have your helmet back next time I see you on local. :rolleyes:
