If you had to sum up neocron2 in just a sentence or two, how would you do it?

Half-arsed try due to unknown reason but still the best game out there.
Misunderstood. Great outcome considering what it WAS going to be. ;)

Neocron is like beer you play alot till you pass out then wake up and play some more.
Tho after awhile you get bored, take abreak and then the addiction hits in

Great, very unpopular MMORPG with brilliant idea but horrible and outdated engine.
(can't really believe how they made it work as good as it does :)

Another game that was ruined by carebears but is still playable because its cyberpunk and nerf monks and remove guards and fix fre and remove fallen angels as a faction and add more lowtech pistols.

But for real-
A game that has asuch a brilliant style and feeling to it, but needs more communication between the devs and the players, More thought into fixes instead of a quick fix. Also its a game that needs more balanced classe (Woot role on v2.2)

A game with great potential but completely under-utilized, under-staffed, and under-funded.
If i could sell this game to investors, i would do it in a heartbeat so it can obtain the attention that it deserves.

NC2 is, compared to NC1, but not when compared to other MMO's......

Imho, it shouldn't have been geared to the sort of middle ground between PKers and RPers it's at now, where it's not really a "hardcore pvp" game anymore, but it's not really a RP/PvE game now either. I preferred NC1, without these silly new SL rules or this red vs blue thing.
It's still better than WoW though.

To sum things in one sentance ? Quite be hard, since so many things are coming to mind. i wish KK had more money and proper understanding of their own game.

Absolutely loads of potential... *LOADS*.
Frustrating engine, pretty much the buggiest game ive played, obviously excluding actual beta's. I was thinking this morning, how much the game still feels like a beta test :rolleyes:. As it happens... Im downloading files now because my client has corrupted itself again for the second time in three days - and this is while im back on a 10 day trial account just trying to see if its worth coming back because I cant get on my primary account because of problems with C2P !!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the balancing of classes and stuff doesnt have a huge deal of distance and work put into it really, it needs some, but I spose steadily, we're getting there...
The engine needs so much work its unreal, compared to other online games... arhghg get this game right KK and you'll be the richest MMO out there... I could name 10 MMO's making more money right now. Are they as good ? Are they even half as addictive ? Nope. I mean for gods sake how does a game with the best world , plot, items, get outdone in playercounts by runescape O_o.
To sum it up ? hmmm...

While not having completely run it's course yet, Neocron 2 shows remarkable comparisons to a hybrid of the histories of SS Titanic & HMS Bounty.

Neocron on a today's engine would.. well.. It would easily compete with World of Warcraft.

Bugs killing me or my alts..........nuff said.
Seriously tho, we all know the bugs, but we all come back. We all enjoy the running and fighting and fun this game gives.
so in summing up
Fun, Community and a bloody good laugh.
Neocron 2 = an anticlimax, who's soul got left behind in Neocron 1 but retains some last vestiges of attitude and style to stay alive.
