I started looking at my old posts, and laughed at some of the crap.
Back to the good old days of being a total noob and carebear, however roleplaying allways seemed to be lurking in the back of my head.

I think one of my first posts was a whine about NCAT or something. I'd been playing on and off for about a year before getting into NC properly, then I signed up to the forums and started to play a lot more often.

All the really old archives from back then are no longer public though.. I do remember making my first post asking "where can I buy better melee weapons?" leveling up my first pe with starter knife. =)

I do remember your closet RPer thread now ive looked over it and its pretty cool that you've now gone through alot of your old ideas and suggestions under the banner of FETISH and for some reason bugs even though you "only" registered in 2004 i still keep thinking you've always been on the forum O_o and part of the furniture.....like Dribble Joy :p :D

My first post was on a previous account (Quoth/Tratos) which i dont use but was handy when this account was Nidd-i-fied when i left the community last year sometime iirc - although that was only for about 2months if that which i still spent reading the forums since they werent hidden then.

I do recall posting about introducing RC Car type drones on my old account and little else really, i dont really think my attitude has changed much in all the time and the only thing i think thats changed about my posts is i type them alot faster, spell better and dont end them in '~T' anymore.

People still call me Trantos, Tantos and Tatos though O_o

But if you want to talk about changes.... I was pro city forever and against all forms of dishonorable fighting, including allied killing for nearly every reason. Now i kill allies on a near hourly basis. With a reason of course.

Also i started my forum account 19-08-02, and thats after playing for a while. I just found out my first guys name was Gabriel. The weapon modding, researching, hacking, pistol weilding, pe. The first gabriel was actualy a spy with a max dex of 75 at the time. Used a unlabled gatling cannon with the p-c req instead of h-c :D . I still remember when they changed the spy dex cap and got it wrong, so peopel where up at 102 dex and stuff. Ok im done ranting, im sure you've all heard it before.

i love the orange house but the fact i only had 2 quid on me kinda ment that i didnt realy have much choice... 2 quid for an hour on a computer or 2 quid for drinks that will last me 10 mins :angel:

Aye its fun to look back through the archives, at the early stages of Neocron even MJS was kicking some ass.


I've seen a couple of complaints about random PKing. What I don't understand is why don't the people who complain use the ingame mechanics to go against that? Why don't vet players (e.g. like Spookie, a highly valued NC long timer who PMed me that he also has concerns about random PKers in Neocron) initiate a clan to protect newbies? PvP _is_ a base element of the game. That also means that we want to give more freedom to the players and give _you_ the tools to go against random PKers. Hey, it's a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world, so why don't you realize that there are some amok weirdos going postal?

Here's what I would do: Keep your Law Enforcer in until you grow stron enough. Organize yourself with other players who suffer from that same problem. Ask high lvl players to help or even protect you when you want to explore unsafe zones. There has to be another solution than turning Neocron into Carebear's paradise. I'm open for your input.

I guess this is why LE'd players and anti-PK people were never supported by KK :rolleyes:
