Ok, seems 4K-Gaming.NET (http://www.4k-gaming.net/index.php) didn't pay their ventrilo license fee for 5 months, and as a result Phoenix doesn't have ventrilo server. (Got a backup Teamspeak server for the moment)

Add to that list the poor reliability of their service, I'm looking for a new ventrillo service provider.

So any people out know any good ventrilo hosting providers?

Pretty competitive prices, fast setup (like 5 mins and ur server is up and running), ur choice of location for your server (5 locations in the usa and 3 in europe). Had no problems with them.

£6.78 pcm for a 25 user vent server running the 22hz gsm codec.
Price reductions for buying between 3 to 6 months at a time.

Very cheap, customer service is good, but you do seem to have to poke them on IRC to get the server set up (but thats easy and itsnice to know they are easily contactable.

Thats the thing that annoys me, it seems 4K-G's service went down the pan the moment Phoenix used them for their server as FLUX ran their server from them for more than a year previous to that and it was never down except for i think 1 instance during that time when they had routing problems.

Soz for hijacking thread, but curious that Tratos said FLUX, that the same FLUX that used to be the W92 CS Clan avec Milkie and Arra and Xanx? Only if it is, and you was part of it, chances are we exchanged fire on the W92 or [BA] CS servers a few years back :D

Back on topic...

I seem to lag on Ventrilo, certainly did on the BLOOD Vent server anyway, although not all the time which was bizarre :confused: I've yet to lag on TS...

...okay okay, so I've not suggest an alternative Vent provider, just didn't want to jump without saying something relatively on-topic ;)

isn't the old thread still on the thn forums bram ? i remember there were a few good companies in there to back then.

now i know why i couldn't connect when i wanted to come chat ;(

@ above i lag on most if not all vent servers to for some reason no matter what version. and i do happen to lag out alot to.. it being silent for 5 min and then hearing all the chatter from the 5 min in 40 seconds. its alot if noise ;)

i dun play alot now just play css with a few mates sometimes and we use ts.. never had a problem with that :)

I went looking for that thread Killer - couldn't find it.

As for lagging out, I've heard other people say Teamspeak lags them out. :confused:
