steamdown... kiss kiss!
i'm talking about original CS btw
Well why can't you use Cs1.6
my bro plays pretty good for an 11 year old who's never really played a PC fps before (altho he did play NC for a bit). Suppose i may as well upgrade to 1.6
1.5 is illieagal to play what i know.
lol skusty, i would like to see someone arrested for playing an old version of a game. :wtf:
Rofl, illegal to play 1.5. then they'd be out arresting half the community there was a big division when CS went steam quite alot of people didn't like it and thus remained playing 1.5
is there any point of upgrading from 1.3 to 1.6 if i'm just playing 2 player de_dust?
Absoutly not, but if you want to add some lag to your game, you can play 1.6 instead :D:D
No there was some illieagal program you had to use to play 1.5.
Umm not to my knowledge skusty all u had to do was install HL update it to 1.5 level and the same for CS and away you go. no other programs needed I think u may be thinking of perhaps people playing 1.6 without using steam.
Ohh, I see what you are talking about. Shortly after valve realeased Steam and all of their 1.6 versions of stuffs, they shut down WON servers, so there were no ways to connect to servers. However, you can still connect to LAN servers through the old 1.5 CD, but you can install the 1.5 downloadable version, and set it up so it will run through steam, doing so, its not exactly Illegal, although I doubt steam will come knocking at your door and arrest you ;3;3
P.S. You can do it with HL 1.6
