Yup - cannot see the Off-Topic forum so presume its bitten the dust, which means I'll post here:

I bought a SanDisk MP3. Its dead cool, tiny, 1gb, FM radio, voice recorder and runs of a single battery, but I need a good tool to load/organise mp3s, rip CDs to and download podasts to it. I like iTunes, but I don't think that it will work with my non-Apple box, and I'd rather get something GPLed/available from SourceForge.net.

However, I cannot work out which search words I have to use to pinpoint the right software. Could somebody recommend a good piece of s/w for the job?

Cheers all ~ z

Don't think I can help you on this one. I use Anapod Manager for my iPod.

But at least I'll bump, so that maybe someone else will see this thread and help...

e: I searched for 'mp3 library' and 'mp3 management' in SF and came out with zilcho - obviously this gave plenty of useful google hits for commercial softs.
