What's best for being a RESser? APU monk or droner spy? Or can a spy be both CST and RES? If, what imps do I need? I got cst-glove but need res-glove..

To be 100% honest, you will be gimping your monk's APU ablilities if you res as well, as you need about 180 PSI Use in total to be effective.

Go for the droner spy, as you can be a decent droner and researcher.

As for being a constructor and researcher, yes it's possible, but you will have not enough points to do droning at a decent level.

Implants - have a look at http://www.synergyxr.net/ For tradeskilling, you want to be looking at Special Science, Tech Haven CPU and if you can get your hands on one, a MC5 Hawkings.

Your best bet if your going to make a character that has a true tradeskill such as research and constructor is not to try and make them combat effective at all as it will only gimp your ability to do that trade. if you want a constructor, make them a spy constructor with other useful skills such as recycling and repairing. Same for a researcher. IF you are in a clan you can do both with the +50 bonus you get from outposts such as labs and factories. If your not in a clan but an allied faction owns these ops you get a +25 bonus instead. SO work a plan around that and you can come up with and effective Conster/researcher with repair and recycle

In my setup you had 190 PSU, 183 PPU (which is enough to cap a non-ultimated shetler, frequency and damage) and also had a 350 mana pool. When you put on the construct glove you had 149 cst. Then with an allied factory 174 cst, or you're in a clan that owned the factory, 199 cst.

That was also without a DS, so if you did have one, your force resist would be better, and you'd have more options in your PSI.

So if you wanted a resser. That'd probably be the way to go, instead just spec research (you'll notice there isn't any tradeskilling brain chips, only an advanced nerves 3) so you'd actually get more out of it, a +31 bonus as opposed to a +20 one.

And that is of course, if you wanted to be combat "viable". And I call combat "viable" capped frequency on holy shelter, greater then 300 mana pool and resists that won't kill you.
