I think it would be nice to have a bit more color in the game
Ammo color mods:
This would only work for energy weapons, basically its a mod for a slot of a gun which changes the color of the energy projectiles firing out of the gun, so you could make the plasma blobs coming out of the plasma pistol/rifle/cannon a nice red color, or white, or blue, maybe you could also have some rare color mods like gold/yellow, black, or a pearlescent rainbow color :p
Tracers:
probably been mentioned before but this could be the version of the color mod for low tech rifles, basically just streams coming from the bullets, possibly just use the current laserpointer and adapt it to being a tracer :D
I know its one of the most unrealistic idea's yet, but it would make it all nice and colorful : D
