I can log in past the server select and char select and all that, then it just sits on synchronizing forever. Did this happen to anybody else? It happened right after I got the newest patch.

try logging other alts, maybe the one you are trying is somehow bugged, then try again your old. Yes it has happened to me 2-3 times
