Much of the earth is not even fully mapped yet :( same here no picture of my hous yet. But some of the closeup high res photos are amazing, you can see the cars on the roads and even the shadows cast off people sometimes. Thats from a non military satlite, me wonders just how far they have gotten to reading a newpaper from way up.

tnx for giving me a target map for my homebuilt cruise missile.

Would not work ^^ cruise missles are controled from the GPS system but the civilan version is only accurate to like 100 meters, I let you think about how accurate they can get with military GPS ^^

Oh really ?

You think they are giving you the REAL military GPS system HAHAH...

/edit ok they may make it better but it won't let you drop a crusie missile on top of X building

Civillian GPS was made accurate to withing 10m lonnng ago, and someone told me (although how accurate that is I'm not sure) that cillian GPS had 1m precision now.

Oh, and Tomahawk cruises are not GPS guided, mostly because GPS wasnt around whent hey were developed. AFAIK (although I'm not a millitary expert), all GPS based medium range missiles were still in development (what with millitary implemented technology being permeantly 25 years or so behind the times, even though their research is often 10 years ahead...)

ON TOPIC: That looks a lot like residential housing to me. Towards the top of the image there could be some offices...

Bullshit it was not, they thought it would be accutrate to within 100 meters but to there horror it was alot less than 100 meters. So they locked out the signals to civilan GPS, that was was to prevent rouge states from using the GPS system to attack NATO troops or other targets.
