I went to this thinking it would be utter shite, but I was pleasantly suprised.

As opposed to making a film of a game (like the evil that was street fighter or Mortal Kombat), they appear to have made an action/horror film with game references.

The first person bit is actuall quite fun.

u know i watched it on dvd the other night , for the most of it i enjoyed it , but the end i didnt like , far to predicatble and stupid , i personaly didnt like the FPS mode part.

It wasn't too bad, on the whole. As a movie in its own right, probably 6/10. I gave this film a lot of leeway(sp?) as every other single film based on a game has been apalling (Resident Evil, Mario Bros, Streetfighter - to name but a few).

Well, they managed to screw DooM storyline. Yep, it is THAT simple, yet they still managed to do it wrong.

:O , i actuley cant wait to see this , i luv the halo games realy intense games , lets hope the movie and master cheif do a good job!
