Problems connecting to server

Anyone else simply getting Connection to Server failed?....I can't figure out what it is. All I did was play a little, shut down neocron, walk away for a few hours and now it wont work. Curious to know if somethings down

I had this problem after updating to 2.1. It turned out my Sygate firewall, by default, denies internet access to previously approved programs after they update, so I ran the Sygate exe, and right away it popped up saying it detected a change in Client.exe, and did I want to allow it internet access. I said yes, and then it worked fine. So basically; perhaps its your firewall?
