I was thinking.

Maybe the grs like pepper exit, fa sector and all those genreps inside the cities should be linked in the NC or doy mainframe things, where you can get inside the faction DNS's.

It would make more people hack in and get out at the genrep they need. Also it would make for interesting raids if a spy, pe, apu, ppu etc can come out the genrep without si.

Also for you to come into hacknet where you hack in not at your FSM.
Also cast a hacknet team prep spell or device that when the spy hacks in he pulls his entire team identified by spell or device in with him (if they are in close proc to him).

Another idea for possible PE's or spies as a tool is a mobile hacknet device that you can pull a team into hacknet from random ...IE you in J-02 and want to enter Hacknet with your team ... pull device (and it hack like normal but has extended hcking time of 1 minute) , Pulls team into closest Gr to that point hacking term. Deactivates on op ground - so no op running ....

Hacknet is so much potential and yet it is just a little under developed in its use

Venture warp should be hackable, more hck, more chance of going to the WL sector you want (or closer to it).

Its fine the way it is. You enter where you hack in IF your clan own the OP but not otherwise. Perhaps make it able to hack in and enter at some non-OP places like Point Red, Battle Dome and such but OPs should definately be left the way they are.

Ohh. Dont like this one the least bit. You see, the hacker has a dataport where he connects himself to the terminal and then hacks his mind inside. But being able to bring his team with him? Nah, non-hackers dont have dataports and shouldnt belong in hacknet. Besides, in all honesty.. If you want to get a team inside, just spy 3 them so they can hack themselves. :)

A mobile hacknet device.. Hmm. Sure, why not. Would fit into the environment. The citycoms inside DoY is already connected through a radiorelay so why not a mobile hacknet device? But you should still only end up at the closest public GR, not OP GR (well, not at the GR but the corresponding place inside hacknet).

I dont think theres any hacker in the game that disagrees with you there.. :cool:

Yeah, Ive been thinking the same thing more than one time. I hope KK start putting more work on hacknet again after Evol 2.1 is released.

Congrats! You just got the award for the most stupid idea ever in the history of Neocron! 8|

The only people that would like that are the morons that love to complete ruin the game for others. Sounds like a good way to get the runnercount down to 0% on all servers like on Neptune.

Luckily KK aint that stupid...

I don't think it's a stupid idea. Just needs a little tweaking to only work when say the player has below -16 Soullight.

yeah the appartment hacking business sounds a good idea, but only for red soullight people, no cab hacking though. Make it very hard to hack aswell. But then its got the problem of being killed by the owner while hacking the door. Still a idea worth looking into.
