OK so just created a new account at weekend and lvling a little tank for fun
(yes i've come back to check out 2.1 like so many others :) )
Thing is i've lost all my setup's from before anyone got any links to any GOOD skill managers so i can work out a nice new setup for me.
Currently lvling as MC lomming to HC at cap though

Look at the link in the signature of alphagremlin in the forums.
I'd use the self installer version for easyer use

reqs of hc and tc for a CS.
what hc is needed to cap a CS (assume 5 slot all 120% for now)
what do resists cap at these days still 115?
what does ath/agl cap at 75/75 still?

114 in con which adds 119 to armour is cap for con, with armour and con resist combined 200 is cap still.
75/75 runspeed is meant to be soft cap but it don't really cap at all just that putting more points into agility or athletics after 75 does not effect your speed as much. I find 100 agility and 75 athletics is about as fast as anyone could go, 180 total runspeed could be the hard cap I think.
Capping a CS I don't know but its a lot less than it was, and you can even spec some force resist and psi use :)

Cap a CS with 52wpl and about 187hc

The CS caps pretty easy now, they boosted the effect of Weapon Lore about a year ago...

NeoSKiller is good... but there are a few major bugs that I haven't kept track of, but permanently ruin your char sheet and you have to start over. It also crashes a lot.
yeah dont click the quick belt option :)

Tanks could get 2 stars way before then, if they were setup correctly.

gonna be forming a 2 man clan for abit of a laugh
talking cyl0n into reactivating so it'll be his ppu + my hc tank we wont be hacking ops etc but will be available for rent by clans as added fire power :)
we'll also be camping any anti city favourite spots to make the zones safer for the city players :)
but that aside since theres only 2 of us and no doubt the anti city will do theyre typical zerg rushing tricks i believe i'm quite entitled to my ppu when vs 10+ :)

It was melee tanks that had one star only, untill they boosted the melle weapons
and upped the TLs.

I'm gonna check out 2.1 aswell, might even try and little trip into NC2 before then, last I remember my old tank was MC, might go back to old HC, god knows my old setup, or equip i had, could be fun.
Oh and tell cylon to get his arse back :)

cyl0n is coming back me and him as a 2 man clan :)

and yes i got into a fit of rage and deleted it :) it returned as an APU :)
i litterally got him fully kitted out and fully capped and deleted him about a week later :)

First I've heard of it, Koshinn! Care to elaborate on this? I try my hardest, and I've not experienced many hard crashes at all!

as i stated in one above theres a major crash when fiddling with the quick belt button :)
throws up an exception on a ; which at a guess is just an un trapped/checked array

190 HC will cap everything except the CA Plasma wave.
yeah think i got my spec sorted now and since i'm only gonna be using a CS i think its all good
ok I'll write up a bug report with duplicatable bugs in the future. Busy atm with thanksgiving around the corner.

AlphaGremlin i find that it's more a problem with resist values not changing when you switch an imp or change skills. I know it isnt very detailed but just thought i'd let you know

Just remove a point in the resist and it all resets to what it should be.

The NCPD Resistance CPU is bugged, ingame it adds +10fir +10enr +10xrr, but the neoskiller only adds +10fir +1enr +10xrr, guess you lost a 0 at energy! :angel:

In my version of it, it's actually missing a "V".
Open the directory you have it saved in.
Open Item.xml with the edit option, or send it to notepad.(I think that works too.)
It's a little ways down. I think you know what to do from there. ;)

Curious, my NeoSkiller ver. 1.0.50 doesn't have a item.xml :wtf:
Edit: Doh! i found a NeoEditor.exe should work with that! :angel:

My NeoEditor doesn't work correctly, i can't edit existing items, and for new ones it doesn't save the values. Does it work in your version? Maybe mine is broken? Got actual 1.0.50

It's not broken, it's just not completed yet. I still need to work on the actual saving of items back to Items.xml, there's some nasty bugs so it's just disabled at the moment :p It's a known problem though.

Ok i fixed it like Richard said. In items.xml was the missing "V" and at NewItems.xml the whole ENR value was missing.
Whats the different between these two files?

NewItems.xml is the file that is output by NeoEditor when you save the items. Rather than overwriting your Items.xml with a corrupt version, it uses that one instead whilst I'm working on making it work.
