Yeah, it's old, but does anyone play this game?
I started playing recently cuz some scumbag named eric (:D) stripped my account after I told him to do it.

Was wondering who was playing this game, plus their class, level and skills.

I'm playing a Breton (after downloading a few mods to make bodies+heads+hair look better, Breton is the best, plus Dark-Elf is a class suitable for anything, sort of like a PE :))

He's level 14 atm since I just started on him (Al Ka'pwn :D). Major/Minor skills are most of them magic stuff, plus Heavy Armor and Long Blade. Specialisation is Magic. Birthsign = Atronach for 2.0x Magicka, plus the 0.5x Magicka bonus for being a Breton... lots of mana)
Only downside about this class: I gotta summon a Ghost and make it hit me with his magic powers to GAIN mana, since I can absorb mana (Atronach birthsign), resting does not give me my mana back...
He's in the Mage Guild, atm Conjurer until I get 1 of my magic skills up to 50, then he can advance to the next rank.
He's also in the Temple, still doing the fucking Pilgrims Path.
He will join the Great House Telvanni, since they're the wizard Great House.
Thinking about joining the Imperial Legion / Fighters Guild aswell, seeing as they like characters with Long Blade, Heavy Armor and Acrobatics.

Also have a level 18 Thief, but I will tell more about him when I know anyone actually plays this game or knows it.
If noone knows this game, I just typed 3 minutes of bullshit in your eyes.
you will all go like: "wtf is ice talking about? summon ghosts? magicka? breton? birthsign? atronach? Telvanni? ZOMG WTF BBQ!"
and that is like not my intention...
so if anyone plays it, please tell me (or us) your character plus specifics :)

Morag Tong were pretty cool.

But Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is out soon. It > Morrowind in every way possible.

Look at the E3 videos of it here (http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/media_movies.htm) - Watch them all.

I got the GotY edition. it has Tribunal and Bloodmoon.

Yeah, Oblivion > Morrowind, I'm waiting for Oblivion :p
Morrowind is good for 200 hours on 1 character, or more if you wanna get all ur skills capped.
Currently my Restoration (PPU :D) skill is 48, got the normal Hearth Heal, plus I hit people with the Umbra Sword (Sword of the mighty warrior near Suran, Killed him while Levitating and kept summoning Ghosts and spamming him with fire/poison/drain health spells :D.

That sword owns. Hit a few crits (mobs), use soultrap first to capture them (pokemon idea) and then use those soulgems to restore your enchanted long blade...
Enchant skill levels FAST!. did it 3 times when I was Enchant skill 20, then I was 21. insane :D

Im enjoying the game as it is.
Playing my Thief every now and then (his name is Danny Ocean :D omg wtf bbq) He can steal nearly everything without getting caught.
He's in the Thieves Guild, and I wanna join the Morag Tong, but I forgot where the GrandMaster (Eno Hlaalu) is in Vivec :(

He's gonna join Great House Hlaalu, since they like (with "like" I mean skills required for advancement) Stealth skills.
He's kicking ass aswell, but short blades don't do that much damage.
plus my armor skill sucks since I always use jinxblade (paralyse 10 seconds) then I finish them off with either a normal glass dagger or an enchanted drain health daedric dagger.

Im loving the game :D

Telvanni suck for the house - its a long ass walk.

Completed as Dark Elf mage and Breton Fighter - Had so much money I couldn't see it (mudcrab ftw!)

Put your skills in Destruction - the high level spells rock. Also its always fun to do it as a pure heavy fighter for the Daedric stuff - One thing I never did get is the crescent thingy from the guy who heals you of the disease (can't remember the steps here - I think you kill him and put a ring on and teleport or something and have to fight an Uber Mob).

Tbh, the game is so big I never did get to do everything - Awesome game, looking forward to Oblivion too. With only time to play one game I have the choice of X3: Re-Union, Oblivion or the Cron. Tough call.

Morrowind is my favourite game of all time. I didnt even know elder scrolls 4 was coming out until this thread, it looks soo good! I was almost going to upgrade for Doom3, there is no doubt in my mind now though, will definitely be spending upgrade money for ESIV:Oblivion! 2006 is looking good.

The cresent blade is from a daedric lord. The old dark elf telvani dude who collects loads of stuff has the key to the Daedric lord in one of his chests. It's a amulet that teleports you to the daedra.

Also, it would be funny if the 'ambient AI' in Oblivion screwed up... A bunch of peasant villagers decide to take your computer hostage!

I got a screenshot here of how my Breton guy looks, plus the Orc next to me in Caldera, Ghorak (or something) Manor.
pretty kickass, isn't it? :P
mods - Better Bodies, Better Heads, Hair.

(btw, Better Bodies also gives you nude chars if you remove all clothes.
aka boobs/pussy and a penis if ya remove the pants/shirt.
time to kill all ze female characters ingame! :D

Btw this was when he was level 1.. Dai-Katana and some robe.
now I got the best (non enchanted) robe ingame! stole it from some vampire, Irarak was his name) Plus now Ive got a daedric Dai-Katana + a Daedric Longsword with fortify Longblade +10 (summoned one that is)
Plus one of the best helm/shields ingame.
Azura's Servant, with a Heavy Armor of 52, it gives me 149 Armor, and I got a helm, cant remember the name but it gives me 152ish Armor.
but the rest of my armor sucks a bit... either Dwarven/Dwemer or Imperial Steel or something like that, cept for an Ebony Right Bracer..

I can talk for hours and hours about Morrowind.
it's the biggest online world ever created.
you can go so many different ways, it's just not funny anymore.
I've never even finished Morrowind.
By the time I had a level 32 character and Master in the Fighters Guild (my first char ever), my friends told me to get NC... never did more than 2 missions of the main quest. (although I did kill Dagoth Ur by accident and took his weapon, Sunder or something? and I died when I used it, because I didn't have Wraithguard.. didn't save so never played it anymore and started playing nC :)

Game so kicks ass, although it's getting boring to get all my magick skills up, since I ALWAYS use my Blade to kill enemies.
maybe I gotta start playing my Thief again.. he's fast as fuck and can kill everything :)

This made me go look for this and install it, I still remember the first few tricks at the begining to make some money :3

1. When you walk into the first building, where you choose your class and sign, after you do that and gain access to your inventory, turn to your right and you will see a platter worth a bunch of money. Walk over there, pick it up, then the guard will scream at you, drop it before he talks to you, then he tells you that stealing is bad, and goes back. Then pick up the platter and run off with it :D

2. After you pick up the ring in the barrel, walk into the building and DO NOT TALK TO THE GUY IN THERE. Go to the other side of the table and you should see a Warehouse Key on the bookshelf, stand as far away from the guard as possible and still be able to pick up the key, then do the same thing in the first one, and the guard will talk to you and all that again. Then talk to him and leave the building, the key goes to the door right in front with of you with a level 45 lock on it. Go in there and loot all you want, just watch for the wandering guard that sometime comes into the rooms with loot in it.

That said
Happy looting :3

There is also a trick of making soul clusters out of the first spirit you can summon (ancestral ghost?) and selling them to this imp bloke (cant remember name -creeper?) inside one of the towns (Caldera?) and he gives you 4000 gold for each one. That is practically cheating though and I think you need to wait a day between transactions.

morrowind ftw!

Vae Victis
17-11-05, 15:59
This is what you gotta do when you begin (I'm the master at rerolling chars, trust me)

Choose ur char, when outside, talk to Fargoth about hsi ring, give it to him, open that lvl 45 door (cpickpocket preferbly) loot all, go to the Trader with who you'll now have abough 92ish disposition, sell everything u own. go upstairs, talk to Hisskar that Nord, accept the mission.
go out of Seyda Neen, to the left, follow the road, get the enchanted sword from Tarhiel (the flying dude).
Then go left, find the dead mans body (tax collector). loot his stuff. find a cave near his body, more to the road next to the coast, go in, kill everything with that enchanted sword. Take the Mentors Ring (Constant Effect INT+WILL +10) go back to seyda neen (rest so you get attacked by Dark Brotherhood, kill and take his armor). sell everything again to the trader, go in 1 of the wooden houses, talk about the murder of the tax collector
(The Killer is in the house with the book on the floor that increases Merchantile) and talk to him to make him attack you.
kill him, and go back to the cencus office to claim your 500 septims award.
now clear the cave near Seyda Neen and go to Balmora.
In Balmora, go to the Temple and buy 2 spells, Mark and Recall.
Mage Guild - genrep to Caldara Mage Guild (genrep wtf lol) and go to Ghorak Manor in Caldera.
Cast you're MARK spell next to Creeper, then nEVER touch that spell again
(If you're overloaded, cast RECALL and you'll appear next to creeper to sell ur loot)
Anyway, Sell you're Dark Brotherhood armor (unless you're Light Armor, then keep it)

He will buy anything up to 5000 septims, dont try to barter him, wont work in most cases.
Now that you've got some starters cash (I usually have 2200 septims when I leave Seyda Neen, and I've got 20.000 Septims when I first sell stuff at Creeper.
go back to Balmora and join whatever guild.

ALTERNATIVE: In caldera run outside to the north and follow the road. Talk to this Nord about CLOUDCLEAVER, the famous (and one of the best) axes ingame. if you have Axe skill, this is the axe to get. He says NorthWest, but just follow the road to the North. Talk to the Witch, then talk to the Nord, say to him "I'll Side with you"

Now watch them 2 fight. kill the witch when that Nord is almost dead.
loot her body, take CLOUDCLEAVER.
The Nord will now talk to you about giving him his axe back. DO THIS.
you will recieve 2 STRENGHT points for free. then kill him and take his Axe.

If you're Long Blade, go to Vivec and go NORTH to the Dren Plantation.
there's this guy that's pretty weak, kill him with whatever and take his sword; Daedric Dai-Katana.
If u've used Creeper enough, and you got like 100.000 septims, buy a "Drain Health" spell, go to Balmora Mage Guild, buy that Grand Soul Gem with the Golden Saint in it, and then enchant that Daedric Dai-Katana with Drain Health attribute.
AKA, you will now have the most powerful sword, non unique, ingame.
Whenever you hit your opponent, his health will be drained and you will gain health. aka, hard to die.
This sword took me all the way to Dagoth Ur, tbh :p

HOWS THAT FOR STARTING THE GAME! :p
told you I'm good at rerolling :D (all this by head tbh)

Started another Thief, cuz I realised I fucked up my Major/Minor skills on my old one, but I'm gonna check if I can edit this with some *cough* cheats *cough* coz I dont wanna start over again, Seyda Neen + Thieves Guild Missions in Balmora = boring.

Yeah, the only bad thing is he has a max of 10,000 credits, and you have to rest for 24 hours before he gets that back again, there is a mud crab that acts in the exact way he does, like a merchant, but I forgot where he is :(
mud crab carries 100,000 credits, and thats where ya can make some awsome moneh :3

Oblivion is the game NC shouldve been (with all the NC styles/classes/items)
Oblivion will be the best online world ever created.

Ok so Morrowind gets a bit boring, at level 20 you're nearly godlike when you've got the right armor.
Dwemer Jinxblade + Drain Health Dagger + Glass Armor = win.
with Short Blade skill at 84.. you barely miss and can/will kill any opponent without any real trouble.

I suppose you can compare Morrowind and NC in a way - They've both got bad animations.

I could never realy get into that game.

First i ran around and did a quest or two, then i killed this awsome theif guy and looked cool, then i fought this boss guy in a cave with tonnes of awsome loot. He put somthing on me so i couldent carry of it, like a 5h of it. Was my only save becouse im retarded and i didnt feel like searching for the answer.

After that my friend started a theif and killed people to take all their stuff. Wasent the same after he learned of an exploit with selling somewhere and made retarded amounts of money and could get anything.

you shoulda waited :(

The game only costs about 7 euros, that's with the 2 addons.
*cough* level 51 Battlemage *cough*
he is fucking god.
archmage of Mages Guild, almost highest rank in fighters guild, just joined the Imperial Legion, plus House Telvanni.

Armor Rating is 200+, noone ingame is gonna take this character down.
(I think 99 Heavy Armor with 90ish Blunt Weapon).

Full set of Daedric armor, except the bracers, they are Wraithguard so I can wield Sunder (rare Blunt weapon).
magic skills are up in the lvl 70/80s.

You know what's the deal with Morrowind?
At first it's all great, but then, on your tenth mission or so, you realise you gotta run for ages until you reach your destination..
Doing the Telvanni Missions now.. although they're easy for my level (level 51 Battlemage), I gotta run ages. my atl/acrobatics are almost capped so I can run/jump pretty fast and far, but still it takes me awhile.
easy missions = I expect them to be finished in 2 minutes.
I had to get a Black Jinx Ring in Sadrith Mora (town of House Telvanni), at level 51... you'd expect a more difficult mission for my level, but at Telvanni im like rank 3, so I get the easy missions...

Best thing about House Telvanni: they teach you spells, which saves you about 300 septims (not much, but handy)

Not only because Im a sicko, but there is awsome clothes for itI knew it, you have that mod only so you can kill female chars, strip them from their clothes and see their naked bodies (boobs included).

Ive yet to see the new clothes, Although I did find an AWESOME robe on some vampire, killed him plus his cult, then took the robe, then I "resurrected" the vampire for later use :)
*cough* placeatpc "irarak" 1, 1, 1 *cough* thats the code if you want the robe :)

I also had a mod, that gives you an extra house in Balmora, but I haven't found it yet. (maybe because I didnt activate that plugin, cuz it fucked up the ingame text)
