Ok, so my brother brought his base unit over whilst he sods off to Poland for a bit, so I had to update it and stuff, and OMG its so quiet!

Mines noisy, really noisy (compared to his at least) so I figure its time to get a less noisy PSU.

I'm currently using this (http://www.qtec.info/products/product.htm?artnr=13024&specs=1) which is ok I guess, but I need to replace it with a nice quiet powerful one.

It needs to run quite a lot, so 450 is going to be the minimum, so whats a nice quiet PSU that I can use to reduce the noise levels to quieter than my brothers? (he got noisy hard drive hehe)

I'm getting a new PSU from SCAN this weekend as mine's borked and im running on an underpowered borrowed one atm.

I'll let you know how quiet it is when i get it.

I was looking at some coolermasters, i need at least a 400watt to be on the safe side, and they seem to be quiet. amazing how much you notice the noise when you get a quiet puter :D

My new box has a Antec 550w PSU. It's very quiet, considering it has two fans in it.
