Hola Amigos,

in order to deal even faster, more effective and more up-to-date with news-worthy events, the VotR system has been updated.
Yet, not only the topicality was improved, but also the quality. In this regard an advanced filter was developed, enabling the Guardian to evaluate the quality of contributed articles and - where necessary - enhance them. As in the past, factionnews as well as reader-submissions are always welcome in the VotR.

Anyone who is interested in becoming involved as a reporter or freelancer, can contact the VotR team or myself.

We hope, the update will please the readers of the Voice of the Resistance - stay tuned for upcoming news.

Saludos

Ronald Rodriguez

Any chance of a RSS feed?

Edit: And the new portal looks much better!

Basically its the Neocronicle reskinned for VotR, and no longer hosted by ake^cj. I think I prefer this new style, although some articles seem to have been lost. Oh, and the Neocronicle feed still doesnt work for me, Bram - so I can't say I'm overly fussed about a VotR one.

The forum based one didn't really display the new stories that well, and just felt like a forum, not a news site.

Is a bit sad that a lot of the old stories have been lost, maybe an archive is in order.

I thought they fixed it, as the THN uses the RSS feed for the ticker...*Goes to look*

http://www.neocronicle.com/?feed=rss2 works but
http://www.neocronicle.com/?feed=comments-rss2 Does not, it looks like the same problem as last time.

I tried http://www.neocronicle.com/voice/?feed=rss2 but I get nothing. (It may be my firewall at work)

You can find the old stories in http://voice.akedo.de/forum/viewforum.php?f=1 or are there more stories missing?

All there it would appear. Some form of link/new archive is in order perhaps.

If i try to add that link as a livebookmark in Firefox, it just tells me it fails to load. Same thing happens if I try to add it by clicking on logo in the bottom right.

*Pokes at the page source*

Ok the RSS 0.92 and Atom feeds are also broke. RSS2 feed works fine in IE, but Firefox is not playing ball with the RSS2 feeds...

...Houston we have a problem.

First of all, the old content is not lost - major parts have already been ported and the other articles will follow bit by bit, as time allows.

Concerning the RSS feeds: Both, the "posts" and the "comments" feed need to be rewritten, which - again - will happen as soon as time permits. The RSS Links for the Neocronicle will be removed as well until the issue is resolved.

P.S: You're still able to access them for THN Brammers, it's just the link thats no longer displayed to avoid confusion)
P.P.S: If you already have an user-account for the Neocronicle, please note that all Neocronicle user-accounts have been ported to the VotR Magazine as well - no need to register a second time in order to place comments
