So, I used to play Natural Selection (still do from time to time). Now, I'm sure other gaming communities have similar things, but NS had quite a lot of fan-made NS themed music. There were parodies, like Million Res Nodes (http://nsradio.net/files/ns_songs/fftclan/A_Million_Res_Nodes.mp3) (NS classic, hilaroious if you'd played hte game, meanignless if you haven't) and Stuck in the Middle with Noobs (http://nsradio.net/files/ns_songs/fftclan/noobs.mp3). And original stuff, like the one that started it all , Boondock Marines (http://nsradio.net/files/ns_songs/fftclan/Boondock_Marines.mp3). Also, I think a lot of the NC community may appreciate the sentiment of STFU (http://nsradio.net/files/ns_songs/fftclan/STFU.mp3). To hear some more of the kinda stuff, check out http://nsradio.net/view.php?body=body_filebrowser&files=files-songs - a lot of it won't make much sense if you haven't played the game, but you can get the feel - take a popular song and rewrite the lyrics, or lay down a beat or a riff and make up something to go over that.
I just thought it would be cool if NC (despite the rather small community) could come up with something like this.

Damm its been so long since i played, think it was around V1.02, was using a custom skin pack based on aliens sleek black aliens and kickass marines gotta love those lerk gas clouds. Some of the best mapping ever in NS, really needed to think in multiple size aspects and even upside down.

@Mechanicus - Sounds a bit like Under My Thumb by The Rolling Stones.

Ive found the music i like that suits NC the most is some Joy Division, especially the darker, more industrial tracks, ones that really sound like theyve just been the soundtrack for Apocalypse (sp?). Ill send a few if anyone wants :D
