I have had this since I started playing NC.

I sit down in front of a citycom and I can't use it, it's so daft. I want to sit infront of my comp sitting in front of a comp and it won't let me.

I know it's not a big thing, but some small things count.

You can sit and use a citycom. It's always been possible.

If you're in 3rd person view it's easiest, if you're in 1st person view, you have to aim your mouse near the top of the citycom. Sometimes (i'm not sure if this is due to lag) you have to hold down your mouse button for a short time for it to work.

I know you wernt always able to sit and use a comp, but im fairly sure i could last time i logged, which was like a month or 2 ago.

it always works for me in 3rd person, havent been able to do it in first though.

IT was possible to sit on a chair and access the terminal in NC1 - just have to get lucky aiming the mouse at the right spot on the CityCom sometimes. I have found it easier to do usually in NC2 though.

As to games, why not more Neocron based ones?

For asteroids, guide the Starcruiser through the asteroids that supposedly destroyed it (though, as the Starcruiser was sent up by the Chinese Empire, maybe NC would think the game too political?).

Or how about instead of Moon Lander, we all play Irata Lander?

And in this modern world, wouldn't the ghosts of pacman be replaced by STORM - or COP - BOT heads? At least, they would in the underground version supplied by all good FA programmers, I think!

Hehe... It wasn't a complaint, naimex! And be honest. It's got to be easier to draw a "ghost" than a STORMBOT's head!

Not sure about "Hack Simulator 98.exe" though - hopefully NC would either have the XP version or a 64bit linux version at least! :lol:

I think this is pretty random tbh.

In one of my appy's i find it hard to even sit down (target box is a bloody nightmare)

In all my others its fine :D

and yes i can use citycom whilst sitting down but always in 3rd person

It's not a matter of targeting the citycom, it's that it simply doesn't work when I do.

No it is possible, as with most ppl here who say its possible, in 3rd person view its pretty easy, in 1st person view is can be difficult.
Try aiming at the extreme edges of the citycom target box top and/or bottom. When targetting some areas of the citycom while seated it does have no effect.
I dont think ur paticular appartment is an exception to the rule DJ
